Dr. Soumya Paul Kattikat is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri, where she serves as Director of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. She completed her medical education at the Medical College of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, India. She then completed her residency in Pediatrics at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and her fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida. Dr. Kattikat is board-certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kattikat provides comprehensive care for children with diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid issues, and other hormonal conditions. Her research interests focus on growth disorders, and she is actively involved in multiple clinical trials on growth in achondroplasia and hypochondroplasia.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Kattikat is actively involved in medical education and faculty development. She serves on both national and university-level committees focused on equity, training, and clinical standards. She is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and the Endocrine Society.
