Identification and Management of Poisoned Patients and the Latest Antidotes and Treatments

This presentation will provide healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage patients presenting with poisoning. Attendees will learn to identify common toxins, understand the clinical signs and symptoms of poisoning, and utilize appropriate diagnostic tools for effective assessment. The session will cover the latest advancements in antidote therapy, highlighting novel treatments and protocols for various poisonings, including those related to opioids, heavy metals, and chemical exposures. Emphasis will be placed on the multidisciplinary approach to toxicology management, including supportive care and the role of poison control centers.
