Sepsis and Septic Shock in 2025

In this activity the presenter will review the key signs and symptoms of sepsis, including fever, tachycardia, rapid breathing, and altered mental status, to aid in early recognition and timely intervention. The latest evidence-based guidelines for the management of sepsis will be reviewed, emphasizing the importance of early identification, rapid fluid resuscitation, appropriate antibiotic therapy, and the use of adjunctive treatments. Additionally, the presentation will highlight new and emerging treatment options, including novel antimicrobial agents, immunotherapies, and supportive measures to improve patient outcomes. All physicians should attend this activity.
