Common Pediatric Illnesses

This presentation will provide an overview of common pediatric illnesses, focusing on conditions such as ear infections, colds, allergies, strep throat, and pink eye. The presenter will discuss the clinical presentation, diagnostic approaches, and evidence-based management strategies for each condition, emphasizing the importance of distinguishing between viral and bacterial etiologies in treatment decisions. Additionally, the presenter will address preventive measures, including vaccination and environmental modifications, to help reduce the incidence of these illnesses. By enhancing awareness and understanding of these common health issues, physicians can better support the well-being of pediatric patients and their families. Pediatricians, ENT’s, and family physicians should attend this program.
