Emily Redding

Emily Redding, DO

Dr. Emily Redding was born in West Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in pre-professional biology at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, in 2000. Dr. Redding graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, in 2005. She started out in Surgical residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, and then had an epiphany. She figured out she was more interested in the continuity, holism, and osteopathic practices and principles inherent to Family Medicine. She transferred to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center (NL EMMC) in Bangor, Maine, where she completed her residency in Family Medicine in 2009. Then she completed her Plus One residency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in 2010 at NL EMMC. Since 2010, Dr. Redding has worked as an attending in the NL EMMC Family Medicine and ONMM residencies. Dr. Redding is board-certified in Family Medicine and OMT and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
